Cognizant to invest $76 m in India

US based IT services provider Cognizant Technology Solutions plans to invest $76 million in 2005-06 putting up facilities in Bangalore and also in Chennai, Pune and Kolkata. Announcing this, the company's CEO Lakshmi Narayanan said, "We have around 1000 people in Bangalore currently and when the new facility is completed next year, it can seat around 2250 professionals."
